GTX Plus is the top-of-the-line, high-performance ID7 with 340hp and all-wheel drive. 20-inch, diamond-cut alloy wheels come as standard, as well as front heated and ventilating massage seats, rear heated seats, a Harman Kardon sound system and adaptive suspension with different drive modes.

Performance and Handling:

The dual-motor setup in the GTX Plus delivers 340 horsepower, resulting in a quicker 0-62 mph time compared to the single-motor ID.7.

While it offers a boost in acceleration, especially at mid-speeds, it may not feel significantly more dynamic than the standard ID.7, possibly due to the extra weight.

The GTX Plus features a firmer suspension setup compared to other ID.7 models, yet it still provides a comfortable ride, especially with the optional adaptive dampers.

Progressive Steering, which quickens the steering response at low speeds, is standard on the GTX Plus and can be added to other ID.7 models for an extra cost.

Styling and Features:

The GTX Plus incorporates subtle GTX styling elements, including unique wheels and other exterior details, setting it apart from the standard ID.7.

Inside, the GTX Plus may feature Alcantara and leather seats, contrast stitching, and other design elements that enhance its sporty feel.

Range and Charging:

The GTX Plus's dual-motor setup and increased performance come at the expense of range compared to the standard ID.7.

The 86kWh battery can be charged at a faster rate (up to 200kW) than the 77kWh battery in the Pro model, but it still falls short of the Tesla Model 3 Long Range's charging speed.

Volkswagen claims that the ID.7 GTX Plus can achieve a 10-80% charge in under 30 minutes, thanks to its flat charging curve.
